The Waroula Equestrian group was formed in January 1996. The aim of the club is to foster and promote equestrian sports within the Rockhampton region. Waroula Equestrians is affiliated with the EFA (Equestrian Federation of Australia) the governing body for equestrian disciplines in Australia.

Waroula Show Jumping Championship Winners
The Waroula show jumping championship finals were held at the Pankhurst Pony Club Grounds. The winner of the David Finch Rug was Nelson Smyth with Laurel Glen Luxembourg being the overall winner of the series for most points for a horse and rider combination and Liberty Smyth with Laurel Glen Raphael winning the Finch Farms perpetual trophy with the highest points on the final day for a horse and rider combination.
