The Waroula Equestrian group was formed in January 1996. The aim of the club is to foster and promote equestrian sports within the Rockhampton region. Waroula Equestrians is affiliated with the EFA (Equestrian Federation of Australia) the governing body for equestrian disciplines in Australia.

Meetings

The general meetings are held every first Wednesday of the month starting 7:30pm.
Frequently scheduled competition meetings are also held at the same meeting location.

NOTE: Meeting locations may change to town if members are interested.

Location

Competitions, clinics and rally days are held at the Ridgelands Show & Rodeo Grounds, Ridgelands, and Austadium, Gracemere.

Objectives

· To provide regular competitions, schools and rally days.
· To cater for a wide range of equestrian disciplines including Hacking, Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing and Equitation.
· To encourage new and young riders to develop their riding skills.
· To provide support and opportunities for riders at all ages and varying levels of experience.
· To provide professional advice from equestrian speakers and experienced qualified coaches.
· To compliment and attract participation from Central Queensland Equestrian Clubs.
· To provide social interaction opportunities for equestrian riders, members and the community.
· To offer a wide range of benefits to members.
